Where has the time gone? It’s been just over a year since we took up our position as Dell’s first global startup in residence here at their Bracknell HQ and so much has happened during that time.

Let’s start at the end…

Last month we ran our launch event in London at the boutique ME London hotel in London’s West End. This setting provided the perfect backdrop to kick-off our pilot with Dell.

One of the highlights of the event was our announcement that we wanted to give back and work with The United Nations, a close Dell partner. This is obviously a very prestigious partnership and we are honoured to be working with such an important organization integral to Michael Dell and Dell’s philanthropic interests to give back as Entrepreneurial concerns.

Over the Summer, we closed a round of funding from a great bunch of investors. They came from telecoms, global IT and software companies. Everyone was impressed with how the product has progressed and the potential for its future.

We have also been growing the Fantoo team over the past year by hiring key personnel to complement our existing team. By adding further knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to our team, we are prepared for the challenges of the year to come.

On the sales side, we are working with a select few senior sales people from Microsoft. I don’t want to give too much away right now but watch this space!

We now move onto the next stage of our Fantoo journey and I will keep you updated about further developments along the way.
